Bafat Pork
Ingredients :
- 1 kg pork, with fat
- 3-4 large onions large cubes
- 2-3 green chillies slit
- 10-12 garlic pods
- 2 inches ginger finely chopped
- 2 inches cinnamon or cassia bark
- 4 cloves
- 20 crushed pepper corn
- 2 bay leaves
- 2-3 tablespoons bafat powder
- 2-3 teaspoons thick tamarind extract
- 1/2 teaspoon red vinegar
- 1/2 tsp haldi
- salt to taste
- mix and marinate for 1 hr
- put in cooker for 1 whistle and then remove lid and continue to cook for 30 minutes
