Upma

  1. 1 cup rava roast on low flame for 5 mins. Add little oil (2 tbsp) and stir. Set aside when colour changes to light green
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil and add mustard (1 tbsp). Add urad dal (1 tbsp). Add 1 finely chopped onion and fry till light pink. Add 1tbsp cashew nut, 1 tbsp raisins and 2 tbsp chopped corriander leaves
  3. Add 2 cups water double of rava. Add salt, 1 tbsp sugar. Cover and bring to boil.
  4. Add roasted rava slowly and stir continously. Keep stirring and add 1 tbsp ghee. Cover pot and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
